This iconic image of The Ramones was later cropped and used as the front cover of the debut album. It's a great shot that captures the grit of '70s New York as well as the rag-tag assortment of eccentric personalities that comprised the band. There's an innocence and toughness present here that is idiosyncratic and very pure.
Very interesting photo. Can you clarify what you mean by "pure" in this context?
